At the heart of Malibu are our energetic, caring counselors who lead with enthusiasm and serve as positive role models, always ready to cheer our campers on. Within our beautiful beachside facility, children explore their passions and grow their skills in Sports, Aquatics, Creative Arts, and Performing Arts.

Meet Your Camp Director
Ilissa Epstein
Ilissa Epstein has proudly served as Director of Malibu Beach Camp since its founding in 2009. Her lifelong passion for camping began at just two years old, and she brings over three decades of experience to her role—13 years as a camper in both day and sleepaway settings, and 19 years as a dedicated staff member.
Ilissa’s deep understanding of what makes camp magical, combined with her hands-on leadership, attention to detail, and open communication with families, has helped shape Malibu Beach Camp into one of Long Island’s most beloved and affordable summer destinations. Under her guidance, each season builds on the last, creating unforgettable experiences for campers and peace of mind for parents.
Transportation
At Malibu Beach Camp, we offer safe and convenient door-to-door transportation throughout most of Nassau County. Our buses are driven by experienced, licensed professionals and supervised by trained bus counselors who ensure a smooth and enjoyable ride for every camper. Families receive clear communication about pick-up and drop-off times, and our team is always available to assist with any scheduling questions.
