At Our Long Island Day Camp
At Malibu Beach Camp, our Long Island Day Camp, every day is packed with exciting activities designed to engage, inspire, and bring out the best in every camper. Whether your child loves to be active, creative, adventurous, or all of the above, our wide variety of programs ensures there’s something for everyone.
From high-energy sports and daily swim sessions to arts & crafts, dance, music, nature exploration, and special event days, campers build confidence, make new friends, and discover new passions. Our experienced and enthusiastic staff are there every step of the way, encouraging participation, teamwork, and of course — tons of fun.
With new adventures around every corner, no two days are ever the same. At Malibu, we don’t just fill the day — we fill it with memories that last a lifetime.
Swimming
Whether your child is a non-swimmer, just starting out, or already a fish in the water, our Malibu Beach Camp swim program is designed for every level. Campers enjoy two swim sessions each day, with time to cool off, have fun, and build skills in one of our four beautiful on-site pools.
During instructional swim, our certified WSI lifeguard staff provide personalized guidance to help each child progress at their own pace. With consistent encouragement and expert support, you’ll be amazed at the growth in your child’s swimming ability by summer’s end.
Athletics
At Malibu Beach Camp, sports are more than just play — they’re a chance to grow, compete, and have a blast doing it! We offer a wide variety of athletic activities designed for campers of all ages and skill levels, where teamwork and sportsmanship are always at the heart of the game.
Campers build confidence as they learn the fundamentals, refine techniques, and develop strategies across a range of sports. From basketball and soccer to tennis, kickball, European handball, and camper-favorite GaGa, there’s something for every young athlete to enjoy.
Whether your child is trying a sport for the first time or leveling up their skills, our supportive staff challenge and inspire them every step of the way — all in the spirit of friendly, high-energy competition.
Arts
At Malibu Beach Camp, every camper gets the chance to shine! Throughout the summer, children are encouraged to explore and grow their unique talents through arts & crafts, dance, music, and theater — all in a fun, supportive environment.
Our passionate staff work closely with each camper, helping them build confidence and uncover creative strengths they never knew they had. The excitement culminates in our annual “Malibu’s Got Talent” show, where every camper has the opportunity to take the stage and showcase their skills in front of their friends and counselors.
It’s a celebration of creativity, courage, and pure Malibu magic!
Color War
“Let’s go Blue! Let’s go Gold!” — these chants echo across camp during one of the most exciting traditions of the summer: Color War. Without a doubt, it’s the most anticipated event of the season, filled with high energy, team spirit, and unforgettable fun.
From wacky challenges to athletic competitions and creative contests, every camper gets the chance to shine — whether they’re scoring on the field or cheering from the sidelines. These action-packed days bring out the best in every child, fostering teamwork, leadership, and lifelong memories.

Trips
Campers in our Sailors Division (Grades 4 and up) get the exciting opportunity to take part in three unforgettable off-site trips throughout the summer! These special outings are designed to add even more adventure to the camp experience and are offered at an additional cost.
Prefer to stay on site? No problem! Campers who choose not to attend a trip will continue to enjoy a full day of fun and engaging activities back at camp.

Special Events
At Malibu Beach Camp, our Special Event Days are camper favorites — and for good reason! These high-energy, themed celebrations bring an extra layer of excitement and creativity to the camp experience, making each day more memorable than the last.
From Messy Monday and Hot Halloween to Parent Late Nights and our end-of-summer Carnival, these unique events are always a highlight of the season. Whether it’s silly, spirited, or just plain fun, our special days are designed to surprise and delight campers of all ages.
